Senior Software Engineer - Sales and Partners Technology

Okta is The World’s Identity Company, providing Workforce and Customer Identity Clouds that enable secure and flexible access, authentication, and automation. The Technology Data and Intelligence (TDI) team focuses on boosting internal efficiency through secure, scalable, and innovative systems. The role is within the Sales and Partners Technology Team, working on the Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platform, IMPartner, and its integration with Salesforce.

• Extensive knowledge of PRM platforms, with proven experience in IMPartner as a plus.
• 5+ years of Salesforce development expertise, including Apex, Process/Flow Automations, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• 1-2 years of software engineering experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• In-depth knowledge of the Sales and Partners ecosystem, including partner lifecycle management, deal registration, and incentive programs.
• Expertise in AI agent frameworks, orchestration techniques, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and advanced vector search.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce security features and data privacy regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive technical direction and mentor team members.

• Architect and design secure, scalable solutions leveraging the IMPartner platform and its integration with Salesforce.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement integrations between Salesforce, Okta’s Partner portals, and other downstream systems.
• Lead the translation of user stories into robust, scalable technical designs and execute features end-to-end.
• Ensure 100% unit test coverage and maintain an automated test regression suite.
• Conduct thorough Pull Request reviews and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Manage deployment cycles, including documentation, approvals, issue resolution, and production validation.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional, global teams and stakeholders.
