Test Engineer

InsERT is the employer offering the position of Test Engineer in the IT team.

• University graduate, preferably in a technical field
• At least 4 years of commercial experience in web application testing
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the testing area
• Strong skills in backend testing, including API and business logic
• Ability to design and implement comprehensive test scenarios and cases
• Initial experience or motivation to develop in automated testing
• Fluent in Polish

Nice to have:

• Ability to read and understand code to analyze application logic
• Experience in end-to-end or integration testing covering full business flows
• Experience as the sole tester in a team or readiness to take full responsibility for testing
• Comfortable working with API and backend tools (logs, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman/REST Client)
• Knowledge of service architecture (REST, asynchronous communication, service integrations) at a conceptual level
• Experience in performance testing
• Ability to design test strategies (manual and automated) for teams or multi-service environments
• Experience in test automation, especially with C#, Python, or Playwright (TypeScript)

• Manual testing of frontend layers, mainly administrative panels
• Manual verification of backend including logic, integrations, and API
• Maintenance and development of automated end-to-end (E2E) tests
• Collaboration with product teams
