• Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related field.
• At least 2 years of research, applied, or teaching experience.
• Proficiency in Python for writing reference solutions.
• Fluency with or strong willingness to learn at least one scriptable physics package such as FEniCS / DOLFINx, OpenFOAM, Meep, MPB, openEMS, Geant4, PYTHIA8, ROOT / PyROOT, WarpX, REBOUND, MESA, CAMB, CLASS, or bilby.
• Ability to design problems that genuinely require specialized simulation tools.
• Strong written English skills (C1+).

• Design computational physics problems that require specialized simulation tools such as FEniCS, OpenFOAM, Meep, REBOUND, CAMB, or others.
• Write Python reference solutions and supply necessary input files and domain or initial condition definitions.
• Determine numerical answers and define domain-appropriate tolerances for correctness.
• Test and calibrate problems against AI model attempts, tuning difficulty to achieve a pass rate between 10–30%.
• Collaborate with senior reviewers in the subfield to ensure task quality through feedback.
