Technical Project Manager (PST hours)

AVSystem is a company operating in the telecommunications sector, delivering device management, service activation, and monitoring solutions to communication service providers such as AT&T, Orange, T-Mobile, and Vodafone. The company develops Polish technology deployed globally and maintains a flat organizational structure with offices in Kraków and other Polish cities.

• Proven experience deploying and integrating complex systems, preferably in telecommunications or large-scale IT infrastructure.
• Broad and deep technical foundation including networks and protocols (TCP/IP at CCNA level), HTTP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, Linux, servers, APIs, PKI, and virtualization.
• Practical experience configuring, integrating, or troubleshooting systems in production or lab environments.
• Proven track record managing deployments of complex software systems for communication service providers.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (telecommunication, ICT, or IT preferred).
• Experience leading or coordinating implementation teams beyond schedule management.
• Ability to plan and execute short- and long-term projects, translating technical goals into milestones.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills bridging business and engineering.
• Ability to deliver results on time and actively lead technical tasks.
• Fluent English (C1).
• Availability for approximately 4 hours during PST business hours (14:00–18:00 CET or 16:00–22:00 CET), 3–5 days per week to support a customer based in Seattle.

• Develop project plans and timelines, ensuring clear communication of goals and objectives.
• Manage project resources efficiently, delegating tasks to engineering and site reliability teams.
• Configure systems personally and engage in technical tasks such as acting as a subject matter expert and participating in technical discussions.
• Identify technical implementation gaps by interacting with all project parties.
• Gather and explain customers' technical expectations to engineering teams.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing contingency plans.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to report project progress and issues.
• Analyze project performance data to identify improvement areas and implement changes.
• Train customers' technical teams on system operation and maintenance after deployment.

The role requires supporting a customer based in Seattle (Pacific Time Zone), necessitating availability for approximately 4 hours during PST business hours (typically 14:00–18:00 CET or 16:00–22:00 CET), 3–5 days per week.
