Chemistry & Python Expert - Freelance AI Trainer

• Degree in Chemistry or related field.
• At least 2 years of research, applied, or teaching experience.
• Proficiency in Python for writing reference solutions.
• Fluency with or strong willingness to learn at least one scriptable computational chemistry package such as GROMACS, LAMMPS, PySCF, ORCA, xtb, CREST, Quantum ESPRESSO, phonopy, pymatgen, AutoDock Vina, or GNINA.
• Ability to design problems requiring specialized solvers.
• Strong written English skills (C1+).
• Willingness to self-learn if lacking prior experience with listed tools.

• Pick an anchor computational chemistry tool and design a problem based on its specific methods or workflows.
• Write Python reference solutions and supply necessary input files and molecular or crystal structure definitions.
• Determine the numerical answer and define acceptable tolerance for correctness.
• Test and tune the problem against AI model attempts to achieve a target pass rate.
• Submit the task for senior review to ensure high quality.
