Quality - Graduate / Specialist

Toyota Central Europe is transforming Toyota/Lexus cars into Digital Smart Cars in cooperation with the Global Toyota Organisation. The role is part of TME Research & Development (R&D) leading this change, focusing on software-driven quality improvements.

• Fluent in English.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Customer oriented with ownership to challenge the status quo.
• Passion for software development processes and quality assurance.
• Organized, flexible, proactive, delivery focused, and willing to continuously learn.
• Ability to perform efficient analysis using tools like MS Power BI and PowerApps.
• Good communication skills, time management, and business understanding.
• Knowledge of software development processes and techniques including requirements engineering, software design, Agile Scrum, ASPICE, DevOps, software evaluation, SIL/HIL.
• Familiarity with quality assurance practices such as code reviews, test case reviews, and process audits.
• Basic programming skills in Java, C++, and Python.
• Understanding of Linux fundamentals and embedded environments.

Assets:

• Experience with ALM tools (Windchill, Codebeamer).
• Usage of source control and CI/CD tools (GitHub).
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of software testing (MIL, SIL, HIL) and testing standards (ISTQB).
• Understanding of network and automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP).
• Experience with Vector CANoe and vTESTstudio.
• Knowledge of GenAI.
• Experience with model-based design (Matlab & Simulink).
• Strong project management skills.
• Possession or process of obtaining a standard driving license (Category B).

Key Performance Indices (KPI):

• Define and implement KPIs to track quality performance.
• Visualize KPI performance through real-time dashboards.
• Set up and maintain KPI governance model including reporting to R&D top management.
• Define and roll out action plans to improve KPI performance.

Quality Management System (QMS):

• Lead the team in applying software development processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure process adherence and alignment with organizational goals.
• Implement necessary tooling/environments such as test benches to enable efficient execution of process requirements.
• Analyze, design, implement, and monitor software process improvements.
• Conduct regular process audits and assessments.
• Provide training and support to team members on new and existing processes.
• Promote a culture of quality and efficiency within the organization.
