Manual QA Engineer

Their client is a pioneering health-tech organization focused on advanced digital health solutions for remote health monitoring, treatment adherence, and patient engagement, delivering safe, regulated software to improve medical outcomes worldwide.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience within the quality assurance domain.
• Proven track record in designing, running, and maintaining functional test cases.
• Practical familiarity with version control via Git, API testing using Postman, and data verification using SQL Server.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal (at least B2 level).
• Direct experience utilizing Jira and X-Ray for test management and defect tracking.

Nice to have:

• Practical exposure to leveraging AI-driven tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or LLM test generators) to optimize testing workflows, coupled with a curiosity for validating AI/ML functionalities.
• Prior background working on projects within the healthcare or medical industry.
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments, specifically Azure DevOps.
• A solid grasp of software architecture and coding best practices, particularly with Java, the Spring Framework, and clean code paradigms.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools, including RestAssured for REST APIs, alongside Selenium and JUnit.

• Develop, execute, and sustain testing procedures aligned with project strategies for diverse medical software platforms, including web, mobile, and embedded systems.
• Uphold rigorous testing benchmarks to verify the absolute safety and reliability of medical devices intended for patient use.
• Assist in the creation, refinement, and updating of comprehensive test specification documentation.
• Partner closely with cross-functional project teams, as well as external QA and analytics business units, to establish acceptance criteria, align on testing methodologies, and resolve technical challenges.
