Java Developer

Scalo is a company involved in developing modern financial systems supporting areas such as digital banking, payments, and data management.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Very good knowledge of Java (versions 8/11/17) and Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
• Experience with microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of REST API and system integration.
• Good knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and/or NoSQL.
• Ability to work in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Experience in projects for the banking or financial sector is a significant advantage.

• Co-create and develop modern financial systems supporting digital banking, payments, and data management.
• Develop scalable backend solutions based on microservice architecture focusing on performance, security, and high code quality.
• Participate in automation of processes and development of CI/CD practices using modern software development standards.
• Influence project development and technology selection.
• Work 100% remotely.
