Python Backend Developer - Relocation to Cyprus

• 3+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI or Django.
• Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda and cloud services.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs.
• Understanding of scalable and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work remotely.
• Experience in fintech, payments, trading platforms, or high-volume systems.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures such as Kafka and message queues.
• Experience working with high-load or high-throughput systems.

• Develop and maintain Python-based microservices in a distributed environment.
• Design and build scalable backend services focusing on performance and reliability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services into existing systems.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to deliver new features and improvements.
• Work with AWS services such as Lambda and cloud infrastructure to build and deploy applications.
• Support deployments and system operations through CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Contribute to code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.
• Contribute to improving system performance and handling increasing system load.

This is a fully remote role for candidates based in Poland. Candidates open to relocation to Cyprus will receive specific working arrangements and applicable conditions during the hiring process.
