Product Manager

Remitly is an international payments company that leverages digital channels, including mobile phones, to send money internationally. Remitly's digital products are fundamentally faster, less expensive, and far more convenient for customers to send money across borders.

• 3–5 years of Product Management experience partnering directly with engineering teams, with a proven ability to manage backlogs and drive sprint execution.
• AI fluency with practical experience scoping and shipping AI-powered product features, understanding where automation adds value versus where human controls are required.
• Strong data and analytical skills with hands-on experience utilizing tools like SQL, BI tools (e.g., Tableau), or Python in data-heavy environments.
• Hybrid work model readiness with the ability to work from the Krakow city centre office at least 50% of the time monthly (typically 3 days a week).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge the gap between technical engineering teams and Finance departments.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience within a Finance or Fintech context, showing comfort operating in high-accuracy, audit-sensitive, and SOX compliance environments.
• Deep domain background in Accounting or Reconciliation systems (e.g., subledgers, journal entries, transaction matching, or ledger architecture).
• Hands-on experience with data engineering, normalization, or ETL pipelines, particularly relevant for the Reconciliation track.

• Owning the product backlog and roadmap execution for either the Accounting Platform (ACTP) or the Reconciliation Platform within the Finance Platform team.
• Translating complex finance domain requirements into well-scoped user stories, technical specifications, and clear acceptance criteria.
• Leading cross-functional execution in a tight loop with Krakow-based engineering teams to deliver reliable, first-time-quality product outcomes.
• Driving automation of manual workflows to minimize operational burden, reduce losses, and maximize financial platform scalability.
• Leveraging AI/ML tooling to enhance platform configurability and accelerate the onboarding of new use cases, products, and geographies.
• Partnering with engineering on strategic tradeoffs between rapid feature iteration and foundational, high-control architectural investments.
• Defining product success metrics and communicating technical progress transparently to senior stakeholders.
• Managing end-to-end data delivery spanning partner data ingestion, transaction matching, settlement orchestration, or durable ledger enablement.
