Senior BI / Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)

ITFS is offering a remote position for a Senior BI / Data Engineer specializing in Microsoft Fabric technologies.

• Documented experience as a Data Architect, BI Architect, or Data Engineer in Microsoft environments.
• Advanced knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Fabric platform (Lakehouse, Warehouse, semantic modeling).
• Expert knowledge of Power BI and advanced creation and tuning of DAX queries/measures.
• Very good knowledge of Azure cloud in the context of data integration and engineering.
• Experience designing scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT processes).
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills (communication with business/stakeholders).
• Very good command of English at B2+/C1 level.

Nice to have:

• Active Microsoft certifications in data area (e.g., DP-600, DP-203, PL-300).
• Knowledge of Data Mesh concepts and advanced security policies (Row-Level Security, Object-Level Security).
• Experience with Azure Databricks or Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Previous work in consulting structures for corporate clients.

• Designing comprehensive architecture for modern end-to-end analytical platforms based on MS Fabric and Power BI.
• Creating optimal semantic models and data storage structures (Lakehouse/Warehouse).
• Analyzing client business requirements and translating them into efficient technical solutions.
• Supervising code quality, DAX performance, and data transfer efficiency in ETL pipelines.
• Defining platform development standards, security principles, and Data Governance for the development team.
