Lead Data Scientist

SoftServe is an AI and Data Science Center of Excellence with a team of over 170 experts including Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Architects. The company works on advanced Generative AI and agentic solutions for world-leading clients.

• Advanced Python proficiency with hands-on experience in PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI and NLP including transformer models, LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini), and fine-tuning methodologies
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph or CrewAI and multi-agent system design
• Proven track record deploying AI/ML solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP and managing full ML lifecycle at production scale
• Experience leading or mentoring Data Science or ML teams and driving technical vision
• Strong client-facing skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to executive and non-technical stakeholders
• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related field
• Upper-intermediate or higher proficiency in English, both spoken and written

• Define and drive technical vision for AI initiatives using generative AI and agentic frameworks aligned with business goals
• Design and implement multi-agent systems using frameworks like LangGraph and CrewAI
• Foster client relationships by identifying opportunities and translating technical concepts into production-ready solutions
• Build and deploy AI/ML solutions on major cloud platforms collaborating with MLOps and DevOps teams
• Establish and optimize end-to-end AI development processes including data pipelines, model training, LLMOps, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Mentor and guide Data Scientists and ML Engineers embedding best practices in Generative AI, MLOps, and engineering excellence
• Contribute to thought leadership via technical publications, case studies, and industry events
