LINUX / WINDOWS SYSTEMS ENGINEER; ON PREMISE; PROXMOX

TUNING-TEC is a Polish trading company in the automotive industry with over 20 years on the market. The company builds its own infrastructure from scratch on-premise with full control over data, focusing on leveraging decades of operational data for competitive advantage. They are building their engineering team from the ground up.

• Experience with Linux (Debian), including networking, security, and diagnostics from the physical layer.
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory in production environments.
• Knowledge of Proxmox virtualization.
• Experience with MS SQL and MySQL databases.
• Networking skills including routing, segmentation, and business-class devices.
• Experience with FORTIGATE.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Ansible.
• Knowledge of storage arrays, HBA controllers, and HA solutions.
• Experience with enterprise-class hardware.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability solutions.

• Design and build an on-premise server environment from scratch focusing on security, performance, and AI.
• Serve as the main strategist and engineer for Linux and Windows systems.
• Take full responsibility for operational continuity from HA clusters to end devices in office and warehouse.
• Develop local AI environments and analytical tools using proprietary data.
• Collaborate on e-commerce related projects.

• Work is strictly on-site in Niepołomice; remote work is not available.
• The role is not suitable for those seeking remote work, ticket handling, or minimal operational involvement.
• The company seeks a long-term commitment of 5-10 years.
