AI Engineer (Java/ GCP)

Cyclad works with top international IT companies to deliver cutting-edge technologies shaping the future. The role is within the AI Development team, focusing on AI and GenAI solutions using Java and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or related roles
• Experience with AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or similar
• Very good knowledge of Java and experience with microservices
• Experience implementing GenAI or LLM-based solutions in production
• AI mindset with openness to using AI in software development and process improvement
• Practical knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Ability to design modern, scalable technology solutions
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Very good English skills

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of integration patterns for AI-based systems
• Experience working in an Agile environment and cross-functional teams

• Design, build, and deploy scalable AI/GenAI solutions in production
• Integrate LLM-based features and AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) into applications and workflows
• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices for AI-driven systems
• Build and maintain AI solutions in the GCP environment
• Design modern, reliable, and high-performance architectures
• Promote AI adoption to improve development processes and products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
• Ensure code quality, performance, and best engineering practices
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver workable solutions
