Java Developer

Scalo is involved in a banking sector project focused on creating and developing loan products. The project includes migrating a legacy system (Renesis) to the cloud and modularizing a monolith (MOK). The technology stack includes Java 17+, Spring Boot, Postgres, Kafka, GCP, Splunk, Consul, and Okapi.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java Developer
• Proficient in Java 17+ and Spring framework, especially Spring Boot
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases and REST API integrations
• Experience working with Apache Kafka
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility for tasks, and actively seek knowledge
• Adaptability to dynamic changes and reorganizations
• Experience with legacy systems or cloud migration
• Knowledge of cloud solutions (GCP or others)
• Nice to have experience with Splunk, Consul, Okapi
• Nice to have experience in the banking sector, especially in loans
• English language proficiency at a level enabling work with documentation (minimum B1)

• Build and integrate banking systems and expose APIs
