• Currently active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• Experience in installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, and support of enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft server technologies and core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity and access management.
• Proven experience administering and supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
• Experience managing VMware technologies including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Horizon, or equivalent.
• Understanding of enterprise storage technologies, backup and recovery, data protection, and disaster recovery.
• Experience monitoring infrastructure performance, capacity, availability, and security events with corrective actions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure and operational issues.
• Experience planning, executing, and supporting infrastructure integration, testing, deployment, and operational acceptance.
• Knowledge of IT security principles, infrastructure hardening, vulnerability and patch management, and secure system administration.
• Experience automating administrative and operational tasks using scripting languages and automation tools such as PowerShell.
• Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Experience working in highly available, mission-critical, or enterprise-scale environments.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer-oriented skills.
• Relevant professional certifications in Microsoft, VMware, cloud technologies, or related infrastructure disciplines are highly desirable.

Systems design:

• Follow standard approaches and established design patterns to create new designs for simple systems or components.
• Identify and resolve minor design issues.
• Identify alternative design options and seek guidance when deviating from established patterns.

Systems integration and build:

• Provide technical expertise for configuration of system components and equipment for testing.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop and agree on integration plans and report progress.
• Define complex or new integration builds.
• Ensure integration test environments are correctly configured.
• Design, perform, and report results of integration build tests.
• Identify and document system integration components for configuration management.
• Recommend and implement process and tool improvements.

IT infrastructure:

• Provision, install, configure, and maintain infrastructure services and components.
• Monitor, measure, and report on infrastructure load, performance, and security events.
• Identify operational issues and contribute to resolution.
• Perform agreed operational procedures including backup/restore using supplied tools and scripts.
• Perform agreed system software maintenance tasks.
• Automate routine system administration tasks using standard tools and basic scripting.

Storage management:

• Perform regular high-performance, scalable backups and restores on schedule and track offsite storage.
• Implement documented configurations for storage allocation, installation, and maintenance of secure storage systems.
• Identify operational problems and contribute to resolution.
• Use standard management and reporting tools to collect and report on storage utilization, performance, and backup statistics.
