Forward Deployed Engineer

Authologic is building the identity infrastructure layer for the digital economy. Their orchestration platform enables enterprises to verify users globally through a single API, connecting identity providers, banking systems, eID schemes, and verification services into one seamless experience. The company is scaling across financial services, fintech, gaming, telecom, and regulated industries.

• 8+ years of software engineering, solutions architecture, or hands-on implementation experience.
• Strong backend engineering background with professional experience in Java, Kotlin, Node.js, or similar.
• Deep understanding of APIs, webhooks, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to write clean, efficient integration code live during workshops and debugging.
• Proven experience working with regulated entities such as banks, fintechs, insurance, or payment providers.
• Deep understanding of identity verification impacts on business processes.
• Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect and at least one of Open Banking / bank API integration, payment infrastructure, or regulated onboarding workflows.
• Advantageous familiarity with eIDAS 2.0, EUDI Wallet, OID4VP / OID4VCI, or European digital identity schemes.
• Ability to navigate enterprise architecture review boards, IT security teams, procurement, and compliance stakeholders.
• Skilled in communicating technical details to both developers and executives.

Lead Enterprise Implementations & Onboarding:

• Act as the primary technical delivery lead for enterprise customers during onboarding and implementation.
• Take full ownership of the production go-live.
• Design and oversee integration strategies for complex customer environments.
• Guide customers from proof-of-concept through production deployment, mapping Authologic’s API into their business operations.

Build Prototypes & Accelerate Sales (Hands-on):

• Support strategic enterprise sales with high-level technical expertise.
• Develop rapid, production-grade prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
• Run hands-on technical workshops with customer engineering teams, including live integration sessions.
• Participate in executive-level customer meetings.

Design Identity & Payment Architectures:

• Integrate Authologic into complex customer ecosystems including identity platforms, banking infrastructure, fraud and risk engines, and onboarding workflows.
• Design EUDI Wallet and eIDAS 2.0 compliant onboarding and authentication flows.

Influence Product Direction:

• Act as the voice of enterprise customers internally.
• Translate complex customer requirements into structured product feedback.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape platform capabilities.
