Mid Backend Developer (Node.js / NestJS / Fastify) K/M

Mennica Polska S.A. is a leader in Poland in implementing, servicing, and developing City Card systems. The company manages over two million cards nationwide, primarily encoding public transport tickets. It focuses on urban services, especially public transport. Since 2001, Mennica Polska has been active in the electronic money market, with a dedicated Electronic Payments Division responsible for developing, implementing, and servicing city card systems. Since 2006, this division includes an in-house Software House enabling dynamic development of applications supporting city systems and unique functionalities, ensuring independence from external software providers.

• Minimum 3 years of commercial backend programming experience
• Very good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Practical experience with Node.js
• Experience with NestJS
• Experience with Fastify
• Experience designing REST APIs
• Knowledge of Git, Jira, Confluence
• Experience working with relational databases
• Ability to solve problems independently

Nice to have:

• AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, CloudWatch or similar services)
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• CI/CD
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Experience with queueing systems

• Design and develop backend services using Node.js
• Implement solutions with NestJS and Fastify
