ERP Solution Architect

The role is within Roche Informatics, a diverse team focused on technological novelties and optimal IT solutions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 6-8 years experience as a Solution Architect with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• At least 2 years experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare technology industry.
• Experience managing full Sourcing & Contract Lifecycle Management processes within enterprise procurement platforms.
• Hands-on experience architecting integrations across Sourcing, CLM, procurement, and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with orchestration frameworks and intake-to-procure platforms is a plus.
• Experience designing business-driven, standards-based ERP solutions.
• Proven ability to maintain solution roadmaps and conduct vendor assessments.
• Solid hands-on experience with Sourcing and CLM tools such as Smart by GEP, DocuSign, SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Icertis.
• Deep understanding of Source-to-pay/Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, API-led connectivity, and middleware like Mulesoft.
• Experience designing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs and working with API gateways.
• Skills in handling data formats (JSON, XML, CSV, EDI), data mapping, transformation, and ETL.
• Expertise in managing Non-Functional Requirements and establishing reference architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex topics and build consensus.

• Define and own the Architecture Runway aligned with the long-term Target Architecture.
• Collaborate with Solution Trains and Agile Release Trains to synchronize technical roadmaps.
• Design end-to-end integration strategies across heterogeneous landscapes including SAP S/4HANA and other platforms.
• Drive comprehensive solution designs managing complex integrations and data flows.
• Enforce a "Clean Core" strategy and Fit-to-Standard approach to minimize technical debt.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies across multiple Agile Release Trains.
• Identify, design, and scale AI-driven innovations within Source to Contract solutions.
• Author and maintain architectural artifacts such as Solution Design Documents and Technical Specifications.
• Ensure compliance with GxP, GDPR, ICFR, and Roche-specific security standards.
• Define and govern multi-tier landscape strategy ensuring environment parity and regression testing.
• Oversee creation and execution of test plans including UAT, SIT, and Performance Testing.
• Communicate complex technical information and build consensus among teams and stakeholders.
