Product Designer

Software Mansion is a team of engineers based in Kraków, Poland, working on complicated, unconventional projects for clients mostly from New York and San Francisco Bay Area. They use agile software development methodologies and focus on building a talented, flexible team. Their technology stack includes React, React Native, Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, and Elixir. They actively contribute to open source projects such as Expo, Membrane, React Native Reanimated, and Gesture Handler.

• At least 2 years of commercial experience in a similar position
• Great knowledge of Figma
• Good command of English (C1 or above) and Polish for communication with clients and team
• Solid knowledge of UX principles and best practices
• Ability to collaborate closely with developers and understand their constraints
• Ability to independently turn requirements into thoughtful, well-structured designs
• Strong visual skills and care for well-crafted interfaces
• Confidence in direct client communication and clarifying product needs

• Translate client requirements and product needs into intuitive, detailed UI designs for web and mobile applications
• Build designs from early client conversations through to ready-to-handoff designs
• Ensure consistency across the entire product both visually and logically
• Collaborate closely with developers to find compromises between ideal design and technical reality
• Manage design systems
• Contribute to internal projects such as the company website, App.js conference site, and open-source products
