Lead Kafka Consultant

x1F is engaged in a large-scale data integration initiative for a leading organization in the financial services sector, focusing on building a unified data foundation for a bank in the DACH region using a modern Snowflake-based data platform.

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in development and integration projects.
• Proven experience building and implementing data pipelines and integration solutions for complex data platform environments.
• Experience coordinating or managing workstreams between onshore and nearshore teams.
• Very good English skills (C1 level) and good German skills for effective communication with customers and coordinators.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Germany for team and project meetings.

• Implement data integration pipelines using Apache Kafka and Flink connecting multiple source systems to a Snowflake-based data platform.
• Coordinate nearshore resources within the data integration workstream to ensure consistent delivery across teams.
• Act as a key interface between onshore and nearshore colleagues to align technical implementation and delivery priorities.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders in the DACH region to support integration activities in a complex project environment.
