Fullstack Engineer (Java/Kotlin/Angular) remote from Kraków

VIRTUSA is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their engineering team. The role involves working on internal tool infrastructure and enterprise platforms, focusing on bridging backend services and frontend interfaces.

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Kotlin.
• Strong command of Core Java, concurrency models, and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices patterns, and API governance (RESTful, gRPC).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Proven experience shipping production-grade frontend features using Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience building and optimizing complex, data-heavy frontend interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred, AWS) and modern cloud services (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL).
• Solid understanding of containerized workflows (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation skills.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Spanner or similar globally distributed databases.
• Familiarity with the Dart programming language.
• Prior experience delivering internal enterprise toolsets or legal technology platforms.

• Drive full-stack implementation bridging backend services and frontend interfaces.
• Resolve complex concurrency challenges in backend systems.
• Address technical debt within internal tool infrastructure.
• Work effectively in an agile, multi-country distributed setup.
• Articulate architectural decisions clearly.
