Mid/Senior Software Engineer

Kuehne+Nagel is a global leader in logistics, enabling the delivery of goods including fresh fruit and time-sensitive healthcare products worldwide. The role is part of the Sea Logistics BPA (Business Process Automation) team in Wroclaw, contributing to the evolution of SeaLOG, the company's seafreight transport management system.

• Solid professional experience in the Java ecosystem.
• Strong interest in Business Process Automation; motivated to learn and use Camunda and BPMN.
• Practical experience using AI tools/agents in development or strong motivation to adopt them.
• Ability to understand system behavior, failure modes, and long-term maintainability.
• Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber), relational databases, and build/automation tools (Maven, Git, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of Angular, OpenShift, Docker is a plus.
• Comfortable with self-organization, communication, and collaborative development.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

• Independently design, implement, support, test, and deliver features in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Write clean, maintainable code and take full ownership of delivered software.
• Use AI tools effectively to enhance productivity in development, testing, and debugging.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Learn and leverage Camunda and BPMN 2.0 to model and steer complex business processes.
• Contribute to improving team workflows and engineering practices.
• Participate in pair/mob programming and foster a culture of feedback.
• Ensure software quality by implementing automated tests and performing thorough code reviews.
