Product Manager (Profile)

This role is within Tesco Technology's Customer APIs platform, specifically in the Profile Domain. The Profile Domain is a core platform enabling secure, scalable, and real-time access to customer personal data, supporting customer journeys across e-commerce, stores, marketing, customer support, and partner ecosystems. It is accountable for being the authoritative source of truth for customer personal data, ensuring accuracy, security, and accessibility through well-governed APIs aligned with Tesco's data privacy principles.

• Experience applying user-centred design principles to create intuitive and accessible products
• Skilled in research and insight generation using a range of techniques
• Understanding of customer empathy and accessibility awareness, designing with inclusivity in mind
• Ability to write hypothesis statements and collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to test and learn
• Understanding of large technology systems interaction and monitoring product health (e.g., uptime, performance metrics)
• Experience contributing to setting product vision, strategy, and measurable outcomes
• Use of market and customer insights to shape product direction aligned with business and technology goals
• Experience working on platform or data-driven products or strong capability to learn in this space
• Experience relevant to product vision, strategy development, market research, data and analytics, prioritisation, roadmap development, and technology lifecycle understanding
• Experience working with OKRs (nice to have)
• Experience in market analytics (nice to have)

• Evolve and drive the product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap for products within the Profile Domain
• Partner with peers and senior stakeholders to set the future direction of the product as part of the wider business strategy
• Understand key user personas, customers, and stakeholders, including internal API consumers and external partners
• Be accountable for product performance and adoption, working towards achieving Outcomes and Key Results (OKRs)
• Prioritise work and resolve trade-offs balancing accessibility, usability, interoperability, data quality, privacy, and security
• Document and communicate requirements clearly to engineering teams using user stories and acceptance criteria
• Support delivery of capabilities such as customer data management, search, matching, verification, and data portability
• Steer sprint and release planning sessions with engineering counterparts to deliver value iteratively
• Support adoption of improvements across product, engineering, and stakeholder communities
• Coordinate and communicate resolution of live product issues independently, ensuring reliability and accuracy of customer data
• Provide direction to cross-functional teams on short-term priorities
• Identify and remove impediments faced by the team, proactively flag risks or delays
• Support development of a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment for Product Managers

This role requires candidates to be based in or near Kraków, as 60% of the workweek (3 days) is spent collaborating onsite at office locations or local sites, with the remainder remote.
