Product Manager (Profile)

This role is within Tesco Technology's Customer APIs platform, specifically in the Profile Domain. The Profile Domain is a core platform enabling secure, scalable, and real-time access to customer personal data, supporting customer journeys across e-commerce, stores, marketing, customer support, and partner ecosystems. It is accountable for being the authoritative source of truth for customer personal data, ensuring accuracy, security, and accessibility through well-governed APIs aligned with Tesco's data privacy principles.

• Operational skills including user-centred design (UX/UI), research and insight generation, customer empathy, accessibility awareness, experimentation and validation, enterprise technology design, product vision and strategy development, market research, data and analytics, prioritisation and decision-making, roadmap development, technology and development lifecycle understanding, and product methodologies
• Experience applying user-centred design principles to create intuitive and accessible products
• Experience using research techniques to generate meaningful insights
• Understanding of inclusive design and different user experiences
• Ability to write hypothesis statements and collaborate with engineering and analytics teams
• Understanding of large technology systems interaction and product health monitoring
• Contribution to setting product vision, strategy, and measurable outcomes
• Use of market and customer insights to shape product direction aligned with business and technology goals
• Experience working on platform or data-driven products or strong capability to learn in this space

• Evolve and drive the product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap for products within the Profile Domain
• Partner with peers and senior stakeholders to set future product direction aligned with business strategy
• Understand key user personas, customers, and stakeholders, including internal API consumers and external partners
• Be accountable for product performance and adoption, working towards Outcomes and Key Results (OKRs)
• Prioritise work and resolve trade-offs balancing accessibility, usability, interoperability, data quality, privacy, and security
• Document and communicate requirements to engineering teams using user stories and acceptance criteria
• Steer sprint and release planning sessions with engineering counterparts
• Support adoption of improvements across product, engineering, and stakeholder communities
• Coordinate and communicate resolution of live product issues ensuring reliability and accuracy of customer data
• Provide direction to cross-functional teams on short-term priorities
• Identify and remove impediments, proactively flag risks or delays
• Support development of a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment for Product Managers

This role requires the candidate to be based in or near Kraków, spending 60% of the week (3 days) collaborating in the office and the rest remotely.
