Mid Network Engineer

Antal is a leading recruitment and HR advisory company operating in Poland since 1996 and expanded to the Czech Republic and Hungary. It employs around 150 professionals across the CEE region, providing specialist and executive recruitment, employee outsourcing, HR consulting, employer branding, and market research services. The company serves various sectors with a division-based structure combining industry expertise and functional specialization.

• 3–5 years of experience in Network Engineering, Infrastructure, or related IT roles.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking and security concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and routers, VLANs, STP, OSPF, IPsec VPN, enterprise firewall solutions, proxy technologies, and SD-WAN environments.
• CCNA certification or equivalent Cisco networking knowledge.
• Experience with Forcepoint, Check Point, or similar enterprise security platforms.
• Experience analyzing logs and troubleshooting network issues using ElasticSearch.
• Understanding of cloud networking concepts within Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Familiarity with Azure WAF and cloud security best practices.
• Experience working with ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Experience working in Agile and project-driven environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with ability to collaborate across international teams.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher for effective communication with international teams.

• Configure, administer, and maintain Cisco-based network infrastructure across global locations.
• Manage and support enterprise firewall solutions, VPN connectivity, and network security policies.
• Administer and troubleshoot proxy solutions to ensure secure internet access and compliance.
• Support SD-WAN infrastructure and optimize network communication.
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot infrastructure logs using ElasticSearch.
• Participate in network-related projects, infrastructure upgrades, and security initiatives.
• Collaborate with Security teams on audit findings, vulnerability remediation, and compliance.
• Support Product Owners and project teams in delivering infrastructure and networking initiatives.
• Contribute to cloud networking solutions within Azure and AWS, including routing, segmentation, and connectivity.
• Support Azure WAF administration and related security controls.
• Work with ticketing and service management platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting activities.
• Participate in regular meetings with international teams across EMEA, AMER, and APAC regions.
