Senior Backend Engineer (Node.JS/AWS) | Remote

They partner with startups, scaleups, and Fortune 500 companies worldwide, focusing on building intelligent agents that drive automation and scalable agentic ecosystems.

• 5+ years of production software development experience in backend
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing, data structures, and algorithms
• Expert hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience developing cloud and infrastructure solutions with AWS and CI/CD tools like Terraform, CircleCI, Docker, Datadog
• Strong knowledge of DBMS such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
• Expertise in REST APIs
• Experience with event-driven architecture
• Proficiency in object-oriented design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code
• Computer Science degree
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and/or Kanban
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivation and proactive attitude
• Proficiency in English

Nice to have:

• Exposure to frontend development in React
• Experience with object-oriented and/or functional languages such as C#, Python, Java, Golang, Kotlin

• Designing, writing, and testing backend functionalities in TypeScript and Node.js
• Deploying and maintaining microservices in AWS using Terraform
• Designing software architecture between backend, frontend, and mobile apps
• Maintaining production systems used by consumers from several European countries
• Debugging issues
• Scoping and assessing feature complexity
• Participating in sprint planning, daily sprints, and meetings with product owners
• Recruiting and mentoring team members
• Collaborating with other team members and dependent teams
