Senior iOS Engineer | Remote

Appliscale is an independent Technology Consultancy specializing in bespoke, cloud-based systems and full-cycle engineering, working across industries such as gaming, proptech, legaltech, and adtech. They partner with startups, scaleups, and Fortune 500 companies worldwide, focusing on building intelligent agents for automation and scalable ecosystems.

• Minimum of 4 years commercial experience building iOS apps
• Expertise in TCA architecture pattern
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing, data structures, and algorithms
• Hands-on experience solving architectural problems for mobile apps and backend services
• Fluency in MVVM, VIPER, TCA, MVC, REST/GraphQL APIs
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD processes
• Understanding of OO design patterns, dependency injection, SOLID principles, and Clean Code
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and/or Kanban
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Team player with a leading by example approach
• Self-motivated and proactive attitude
• Proficiency in English

Nice to Have:

• Experience developing Cloud and Infrastructure solutions with AWS and CI/CD tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, CircleCI, GitlabCI, Datadog
• Experience with object-oriented and/or functional languages such as Elixir, C++, C#, Golang, Erlang, Python, Kotlin, Node.js

• Development and delivery of iOS apps for B2B and B2C clients
• Design software architecture between mobile apps and connected systems
• Follow and improve dependency injection and threading concepts inside apps
• Scope and assess feature complexity
• Continuously improve quality and performance of mobile apps
• Maintain production apps used by consumers in several European countries
• Monitor and prototype new technological opportunities (Apple Watch, Apple TV, macOS)
• Participate in sprint planning, daily sprints, and meetings with product owners
• Recruit new team members
• Collaborate with other team members and dependent teams
