Network & Connectivity Intern (2–3 months)

Engenious is offering a remote/hybrid internship opportunity within their Connectivity & Network Solutions team. The internship lasts 2–3 months and is paid, providing practical experience in network engineering.

• Understanding of networking basics: TCP/IP, IP addressing & subnetting, DNS/DHCP, basics of routing and switching
• Comfort working with a command line (Linux and/or Windows)
• English at B2 level or higher
• Genuine interest in networks and willingness to learn

Nice to have:

• Started or completed a certification path (e.g. Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+)
• Basic scripting skills (Python or Bash)
• Exposure to cloud networking (Azure/AWS) or monitoring tools (Wireshark, Zabbix, Grafana)
• Basic awareness of network security concepts such as Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
• Experience with homelab, personal projects, or hands-on tinkering with routers, VPNs, Raspberry Pi, etc.
• Basics of Git

• Support the team with day-to-day network and connectivity tasks under the guidance of senior engineers
• Help with documentation, configuration testing, and monitoring of network environments
• Assist in a small, well-scoped project such as lab setup, monitoring dashboard, automation script, or documentation overhaul
• Learn tools and workflows and actively ask questions
