Senior Security Engineer

At Auctane, we help businesses deliver shipping and mailing solutions globally, supporting hundreds of thousands of businesses with products like ShipStation, Stamps.com, and Packlink. Our partners include major companies such as Amazon, UPS, and Shopify.

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including 3-5 years leading large-scale implementations.
• Experience defining and leading multiple cybersecurity programs for large organizations.
• Advanced expertise in one or two security domains within Enterprise and Cloud Infrastructures.
• Proven ability to lead projects, define roadmaps, communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and advise senior management.
• Experience leading engineers and analysts and collaborating with external teams.
• Ability to deliver high-quality results under demanding timescales.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, AWS Security, or GCP Security.

Nice to have:

• Experience with security prevention programs.
• Knowledge of Azure.
• Familiarity with AI technologies.

• Review and enrich playbooks and identify automation opportunities in security detection and response.
• Liaise with Engineering teams on incident response, vulnerability management, and remediation.
• Provide technical expertise in supporting security incidents using leading security tools.
• Work with AWS and GCP cloud-native security tools like GuardDuty, Security Hub, and GCP Security Command Center.
• Conduct regular security reviews, vulnerability, risk assessments, and audits using CSMP tool Wiz and Crowdstrike.
• Promote "Security by Design" across Engineering Teams and the wider business.
• Participate in internal Infosec incident processes, investigate attacks, manage incidents, and perform post-mortem analyses.
• Respond swiftly to emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Engage in continuous learning and training to enhance knowledge of Security Orchestration and Automation.
