Software Engineer - SAP ABAP Developer

• Deep commercial experience in ABAP development, with knowledge of Corporate Finance or SAP FI modules as a strong advantage.
• Strong adherence to Clean Code principles, architecture optimization, and code profiling using tools like SQL Trace and ABAP Profiler.
• Solid understanding of modern SAP standards and technical curiosity necessary for refactoring legacy code for S/4HANA migration.
• Proven experience designing secure and reliable SAP integrations with external and internal systems.
• Excellent communication skills and natural ability to share knowledge and mentor junior/mid-level developers.
• Excellent self-organization skills to manage concurrent priorities and use modern engineering tools, including AI assistants.
• Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher and Polish at minimum C1 level.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Experience with Jira.

• Write high-quality, efficient, and clean ABAP code for various SAP financial enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
• Participate actively in preparing the current landscape for S/4HANA migration through analysis, optimization, and refactoring of legacy code.
• Serve as a technical authority for other developers, providing guidance and resolving complex blockers.
• Design and support reliable data flows between SAP, external financial tools (e.g., Kyriba), and Allegro's internal ecosystems.
• Take full responsibility for tasks from initial technical analysis and estimation to implementation and documentation in Jira.
• Maintain stability of key financial reporting systems while identifying opportunities to reduce technical debt.
