Senior QA Engineer

j-labs is a Polish software company founded in 2010, specializing in software development with expertise in Java, JavaScript, .NET, Kotlin, Python, QA, and DevOps. The company operates in three locations: Cracow, Warsaw, and Munich, serving over 75 clients in fintech, telco, e-commerce, travel & airlines, automotive, logistics, and banking sectors. It employs over 500 engineers with an average experience of 11 years.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation.
• Experience with TypeScript and Playwright (approximately 5 years) and Java.
• Knowledge of cloud environments, Docker, and containerization.
• Fluent communication in English (minimum B2 level).
• Ability to work with close collaboration and transparent communication.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure.
• Experience with Spring framework.

• Maintain and develop existing automated tests for frontend, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Implement improvements in configuration, API structure, security, performance, and monitoring of testing solutions.
• Collaborate within a team including backend and frontend developers and QA engineers using the 3 Amigos (DEV+QA+BA) model.
• Work on adapting the system to business and regulatory changes such as customs, permission management, and user sessions.
• Utilize mocks and testcontainers due to the application's large scale and complexity.
