Senior Data Engineer (Reporting & Analytics)

Insurance project focused on building data foundations for reliable internal and client-facing reporting.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer working on reporting, analytics, or data platform projects in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience using AI coding assistants to improve productivity and code quality.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including building data pipelines and data transformation processes.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
• Fluent English and Polish (spoken & written).

Nice to have:

• Experience in the insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC).
• Experience building reporting capabilities for multi-tenant SaaS products.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data transformation processes to support reporting and analytics.
• Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of data solutions, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Develop and enhance analytical data models to meet business and reporting needs.
• Work within an AWS-based reporting environment, covering data ingestion, transformation, storage, and query execution layers.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Support the delivery of reports and datasets for both operational reporting and enterprise data warehouse initiatives.
