Test Automation Engineer (Python / Robot Framework)

This role is within a major banking environment focused on payments, based in Warsaw, Poland. The position is part of a cross-functional team working on payment flow applications.

• Strong hands-on experience with Python programming
• Solid practical knowledge of Robot Framework for test automation
• Experience automating both API and UI tests
• Solid grounding in software testing principles and methodologies
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, agile teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Kafka message streaming
• Experience with Splunk for log analysis and monitoring
• Hands-on work with Jira and qTest
• Experience building test frameworks from the ground up
• Background in release management processes

• Analysing requirements to identify testing needs and risks
• Designing and implementing automated tests using Python and Robot Framework
• Automating both API and UI tests across multiple applications
• Executing test suites and investigating defects through root cause analysis
• Contributing to the design and evolution of the test automation framework
• Collaborating in an Agile/SAFe environment with developers, BAs, and QA engineers
