Freelance Mobile App Developer (iOS / Android)

Mindrift is a platform connecting specialists with AI projects from major tech innovators. The role is part of the Tendem project, which involves building native and cross-platform mobile applications within a hybrid AI and human environment.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in mobile app development.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is a plus.
• Strong foundation in mobile application development, platform-specific UI/UX patterns, and building stable, high-quality mobile experiences for iOS and Android.
• Hands-on experience with React Native, Flutter, Swift/SwiftUI, or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI patterns, navigation, state management, and platform guidelines.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, handling asynchronous data, and managing local storage.
• Familiarity with native device APIs including notifications, camera, location, storage, and biometrics.
• Experience with mobile build tools, code signing, and submission to App Store and Google Play.
• Experience implementing in-app purchases, ads, or subscriptions is a plus.
• Familiarity with backend services such as Firebase or Supabase is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to performance, stability, and platform polish.
• Ability to work independently and ship complete mobile features.
• Portfolio of shipped mobile apps with App Store or Google Play links preferred.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate (B2) level or above.

• Build mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, Swift (iOS), or Kotlin (Android).
• Implement responsive mobile UIs that follow platform conventions (iOS HIG, Material Design).
• Integrate native device features such as camera, push notifications, location, storage, and biometrics.
• Connect apps to backend APIs, handle offline state, caching, and synchronization.
• Implement monetization features including in-app purchases, ads, and subscriptions.
• Evaluate AI-generated mobile code and refactor it for correctness, performance, battery use, and maintainability.
• Debug platform-specific issues and prepare builds for distribution via TestFlight and Play Console.

This is a freelance part-time role with an estimated workload of 10–20 hours per week during active project phases. English proficiency at upper-intermediate (B2) or above is required.
