IT Support Engineer

• Knowledge of Linux Server (preferably Ubuntu) installation, administration, and support
• Knowledge of Windows-based environments (Windows 11, Windows Server 2019) installation, administration, and support
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 365, Microsoft Office 365, Windows Servers 2019
• Knowledge of network infrastructure and configuration including Cisco, IPsec, OpenVPN, VPN, WiFi
• Experience in 3rd line support
• Ability to prioritize effectively
• Fluent in English and Polish
• Positive, human-oriented attitude especially with new users
• Broad understanding of technologies such as EDR, XDR, vulnerability scanners, patch management, log monitoring, DNS filtering, and SIEM systems
• Knowledge of IAM/PAM/privileged password management related to MS Active Directory & 365 user permissions

Nice to have:

• Experience in open source technologies
• Good knowledge of server virtualisation and storage systems
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze data and provide systematic solutions
• Experience with data analysis, processing, and presentation
• Experience with Microsoft365 security centre including Endpoint, vulnerability, BYOD, phishing/spam & threat Management
• Experience with Colonial Landscape, ADsys, and ADgroup policies
• Knowledge of automated vulnerability and intrusion protection solutions such as Tenable, CrowdStrike, Darktrace, AC-hunter
• Experience in cyber and Infosec engineering functions with knowledge of ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials
• Working knowledge of IDS, IPS, network segregation, and network access control

• Helping set up infrastructure for the new office from scratch
• Providing day-to-day user support for the office staff
• Identifying, analyzing, and repairing product failures
• Ordering and replacing parts
• Working through tickets in the IT Service Desk ensuring SLA compliance
• Delivering infrastructure projects including managing subcontractors and setting up server and network infrastructure (enterprise switches & gateways)
• Performing root cause analysis and identifying opportunities for efficiencies
