Senior Test Automation Engineer

The role involves architecting and maintaining automated testing frameworks, integrating performance and tooling proof-of-concepts, and mentoring mid-level engineers. Collaboration with cross-functional development squads is key to identify critical system paths and implement quality gates.

• Proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of clean code principles, OOP, SOLID, and KISS.
• Advanced Git workflow mastery and experience with code reviews.
• Expert knowledge of REST Assured and Postman for API testing.
• Deep understanding of API response schemas and integration contract validation.
• Experience with automation frameworks including Selenium/Selenide, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber for web front.
• Experience with Appium and XCUITest for mobile automation.
• Familiarity with Jira and Xray integration for test management.
• Comprehensive expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Gatling for performance testing and CI/CD pipeline integration.

Nice to have:

• Experience with JMeter.

• Plan, design, and execute integration, system, usability, and End-to-End (E2E) testing suites.
• Support business units during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
• Build and scale automated API test coverage, verifying data contracts, JSON payloads, and response structures.
• Maintain and extend cross-browser web automation and native mobile testing workflows.
• Embed automated tests into distribution pipelines ensuring continuous validation and rapid feedback.
• Conduct load, stress, and scalability performance testing.
• Lead technical code reviews and promote engineering design patterns.
• Run exploratory proof-of-concepts for new technologies.
• Mentor mid-level engineers to foster a proactive engineering culture.
