DevOps Engineer

Scalo is a company involved in projects including banking, database administration, and application management using Docker on Kubernetes clusters. The role involves working in a hybrid model with meetings 2-3 times a month at the client's office in Łódź.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments, especially RHEL
• Practical experience with Windows Server (2012 R2 and later)
• Experience with administration of applications on Windows and Linux and container technologies such as Docker/Podman
• Ability to create automation scripts, preferably in Bash and PowerShell; Python is a plus
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, especially MS SQL
• Advanced knowledge and solid experience with Kubernetes
• Experience or openness to working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SCOM, Nagios, Splunk, Zabbix, Prometheus
• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP), multi-layer system architecture, and load balancing mechanisms
• Basic knowledge of PKI and cryptographic mechanisms
• Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Accuracy, responsibility, and openness to technological development
• English language proficiency sufficient for working with technical documentation and communication with suppliers

• Participation in banking projects
• Administration of MS SQL databases
• Administration of web services
• Administration of Docker applications on Linux Kubernetes clusters
• Automation of repetitive tasks in software development and deployment cycles for test and production environments
• Configuration management and monitoring development
• Close cooperation with development, testing, administration teams, and business/back office in software development processes
• Working in a hybrid model with 2-3 meetings per month at the client's office in Łódź
