Technology Office Senior Manager

A senior, group-wide mandate working directly alongside the Chief Technology Officer at one of Central Europe's largest and fastest-scaling retail-technology operations.

• Experience leading technology in retail, FMCG, e-commerce or complex multi-site/international environments.
• Proven record of setting strategy and leading cross-organisational initiatives.
• Credibility as a sparring partner to C-level executives.
• Strong command of enterprise architecture and end-to-end retail and IT systems integration.
• Fluent English (C1 or above), comfortable operating across an international group.
• Geographic flexibility with regular presence across group locations and openness to international assignments.

• Partner with the CTO to set technology strategy, priorities, roadmaps and group-wide standards.
• Represent the technology function in executive forums, steering committees and programme reviews.
• Own enterprise-architecture governance and solution consistency across POS, ERP, e-commerce, WMS, OMS and store infrastructure.
• Run the Technology Office: portfolio governance, decision-making and oversight of transformation initiatives.
• Drive flagship programmes such as store and logistics digitalisation.
• Align technology and business to ensure architecture choices serve commercial outcomes.
• Build standards and operating models for a scaling technology organisation.
• Surface strategic and operational risks early with options to address them.
• Track retail technology trends and influence network investment.
• Mentor senior technology leaders and experts.

This role requires genuine geographic flexibility, including regular presence across group locations in Poland and Romania and openness to international assignments as the group grows.
