IT Support Specialist

LTG Cargo Polska sp. z o.o. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Lithuanian rail transport operator AB "LTG Cargo", part of the largest railway group in the Baltic countries AB "Lietuvos geležinkeliai" (LTG). The company started operations in Poland in 2020 and ranks 10th in the EU by freight transport volume. It focuses on offering optimal, time- and cost-saving freight transport solutions through synergy of various transport means, technical progress, and IT technologies.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar position preferred
• Good knowledge of Windows environment
• Ability to work with Active Directory
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Ability to diagnose network and office hardware problems
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level (spoken and written)
• Experience with ServiceNow, Comarch, Linux, and Roger access systems is a plus
• Analytical thinking and effective problem diagnosis skills
• Good work organization and priority setting
• Customer service orientation and high user support culture
• Patience and composure when working with users of varying technical knowledge
• Teamwork skills and effective cooperation with other departments
• Willingness to develop and acquire new knowledge
• Reliability, meticulousness, and conscientiousness
• Readiness for on-site work and business trips to Katowice or Warsaw offices

• Provide remote and local technical support for employees (1st line support)
• Register and handle tickets in the ticketing system
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, phones, and tablets
• Prepare and deploy new workstations (hardware and software)
• Manage user accounts and assign permissions
• Support LAN/WiFi and VPN networks
• Create and update technical documentation
• Inventory hardware and manage licenses
• Assist users in IT system operation
• Collaborate with 2nd line support and other IT teams
• Cooperate with external service providers
• Participate in weekend duty shifts as scheduled
