Data Engineer (Python)

• Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Practical experience with Terraform and Airflow.
• Strong familiarity with Google BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform services (Cloud Functions, Dataflow).
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level.
• Willingness to participate in rotational support during extended hours (8:00–20:00).
• Availability for 24/7 on-call duties.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Dataform or dbt for managing complex data transformation layers.
• Knowledge of Fivetran.
• Experience with billing system APIs.
• Familiarity with Go or Java programming languages.

• Automate data ingestion processes by integrating directly with APIs or data warehouses, replacing manual workflows.
• Design data models in SQL and Python that account for complex subscriber journeys.
• Implement and manage pipeline scheduling.
• Conduct full historical data reprocessing and comparative testing to validate the automated system against three years of financial data.
• Act as a bridge between the Finance department and the Engineering team.
• Participate in rotational support during extended working hours (8:00–20:00).
• Perform on-call duties 24/7.
