Senior Fullstack Engineer (PST Overlap)

Appliscale is an independent Technology Consultancy specializing in bespoke, cloud-based systems and full-cycle engineering. They work across industries such as gaming, proptech, legaltech, and adtech, partnering with startups, scaleups, and Fortune 500 companies worldwide. Their current focus is on building intelligent agents that drive automation and enable scalable agentic ecosystems.

• 6+ years of experience with Frontend Technologies
• 5+ years of experience with React
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong frontend focus with ability to work across the stack
• Deep hands-on programming experience with TypeScript and React
• Good understanding of modern web architecture and technologies
• Attention to detail including spacing, CSS animations, and user experience nuances
• Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines
• Aptitude for debugging, analyzing issues, and implementing solutions
• Experience building frontend interfaces from design mockups (Figma or similar)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks
• Experience with version control (Git) and build tools (Webpack, Vite)
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and handling JSON/XML
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with building Electron desktop applications
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Docker and Github Actions
• Hands-on experience with Public Cloud, preferably AWS
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools, preferably Datadog

• Partner closely with Senior Engineers and Design to create and iterate on well crafted user experiences
• Build out complex Electron applications that support the Game Client development
• Work with partner teams and platforms to bring experience to life
• Quickly iterate on prototypes and new areas to find feasible solutions for the products
• Create, manage and document RESTful APIs
• Write and execute unit, integration and end-to-end tests, participate in code reviews

Availability to attend afternoon/evening meetings is a requirement due to team location on the US West Coast (LA and Seattle).
