Senior React Frontend Developer with Fixed Income experience

Vistulo is recruiting for a major North American bank to develop frontend systems supporting the bank's fixed income business within the capital markets division. The role involves working on actively developed, high-performance trading system frontends as part of the core product team.

• 6+ years of professional experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Understanding of fixed income trading, ideally with RFQ execution model experience.
• Ability to follow and understand technical conversations and explain non-trivial systems.
• Humility to ask questions when necessary.
• Open mind, curiosity, and strong desire to learn new technologies and business domains.
• Ability to align working schedule to US Eastern business hours during onboarding.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to backend Java.
• Experience developing with OpenFin, Electron, or similar desktop runtimes.
• Financial market experience.
• Computer science degree from a top Polish technical university.

• Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications written in React using JavaScript and TypeScript with the OpenFin framework.
• Ensure high performance and reliability by writing well-structured code.
• Work with backend systems via REST APIs and data streaming.
• Participate in team discussions and contribute to architectural decisions for improving system scalability and maintainability.
• Ability to read backend Java code is a plus.
