Director of Cloud Engineering (GenAI & Infrastructure)

The role is within one of Comarch's most dynamic units, focusing on software and infrastructure at a large scale, transforming traditional network management into intelligent ecosystems.

• Practical experience in system engineering and managing large-scale complex systems.
• Proven success in managing distributed structures and developing leadership competencies.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes architecture and public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Practical orientation towards implementing AI tools in daily processes (automation, monitoring, agentification).
• Strong knowledge of Software Lifecycle, CI/CD optimization, and software installation/configuration automation.
• Ability to make decisions based on technical and business parameters, including Disaster Recovery.
• English language proficiency at minimum C1 level for technical discussions, workshops, and presentations with international clients.

Leadership:

• Direct supervision of Team Leaders, fostering mature engineering culture and team development.

AI Transformation:

• Strategic decisions on implementing GenAI agents and automation tools across the department.

Delivery Optimization:

• Eliminating bottlenecks between R&D, QA, and Support to reduce Time-to-Market.

Operations Standards Evolution:

• Defining automation requirements for system build/deployment and overseeing escalation paths.

Critical Infrastructure:

• Responsibility for Disaster Recovery plans and ensuring highest availability of global BSS/OSS systems.

Product Support:

• Providing architectural and business advice for telecommunications product roadmaps.
