Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Software-Focused)

• 5+ years in software engineering focused on building and operating backend systems at scale.
• Proficient in Go, Python, Scala, and TypeScript including production code development and system design.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and storage technologies (SQL, NoSQL), especially in cloud (AWS).
• Experience with AWS services (RDS, EKS, IAM), Terraform, and monitoring tools (Datadog or similar).
• Good understanding of SRE principles focusing on reliability as a software problem.
• Clear communication and collaborative skills for cross-stack stakeholder engagement.
• Strong software engineering skills beyond scripting.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with MySQL, OpenSearch, and DynamoDB.

• Design and build frameworks, tools, and services improving infrastructure reliability, observability, and scalability.
• Lead end-to-end projects across multiple systems and teams from scoping to rollout.
• Enhance operability of stateful infrastructures such as MySQL, OpenSearch, and DynamoDB.
• Debug production issues effectively; participate in on-call rotation with focus on durable fixes.
• Collaborate with product teams to develop a reliable service-oriented architecture.
• Share expertise through code reviews, design discussions, and mentoring.
