Senior Product Manager

Tesco Technology is a technology team of over 4,000 experts across 5 countries (UK, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, and India) focused on solving problems at a global scale. The teams take strategic ownership of architecture, design, testing, deployment, infrastructure, operation, and security of systems to ensure agile, smooth, and safe operations with maximum business impact.

• Articulate complex product strategy in terms of consumer and business value.
• Experience and understanding of agile techniques to deliver products.
• Conceptual thinking across multiple platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience managing work completed by external agencies to ensure high standards.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Proven success working on unstructured problems, defining hypotheses, creating MVPs, running experiments, and analyzing results for data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of product management best practices, methodologies, and strong technical acumen.
• Technical competence to influence and understand solution context and aid engineering in estimating work complexity.

• Steer sprint and release planning sessions with engineering counterparts to deliver maximum business value.
• Identify and drive improvements in API performance and service level measurements.
• Lead discovery work around MVPs for new features, collaborating with delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Help delivery teams break down complex work into epics and stories for faster delivery.
• Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional delivery teams on short-term tasks and priorities.
• Provide support and coaching to Product Managers and peers.
