The Audience Platform team is part of Customers API, the platform that holds core data about Tesco customers and powers personalized customer communication and experiences across Tesco. The platform processes around 500 million customer attribute updates every week and continues to grow as Tesco increases the scale, relevance, and personalization of customer engagement. Built as a cloud-native microservice architecture on Azure, the platform uses Azure Service Bus for event-driven processing, PostgreSQL for data storage, and is currently evolving from Azure App Services towards Kubernetes to support the next stage of scalability and resilience.
Wymagania
- Around 6+ years of experience in delivering Java.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Good English communication skills.
- Experience with Azure, AWS or other cloud solutions, Terraform.
- Experience in system design.
- Experience in taking ownership of a project and leading a team from technical/project perspective.
- Proactive attitude.
- Nice to have: Experience with Microsoft Azure and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).

- Developing high-quality software solutions, with proficiency in Java (Spring Boot or other frameworks).
- Working with Microsoft Azure and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) or demonstrating a willingness to learn.
- Implementing and advocating CI/CD best practices for seamless software delivery.
- Maintaining high-quality documentation to support development processes and system design.
- Ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and efficient.
- Taking ownership of systems, driving reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Mentoring and supporting fellow engineers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
- Automating workflows and building tools/scripts to enhance efficiency.
- Be a coder; review and contribute code.
- Focus on performance, availability, reliability, and security.
- Contribute to the definition of features for services owned by your team.
- Effectively communicate your and your team’s progress to your team members, your Manager, and wider Tesco colleagues.

This role requires you to be based in or near Kraków, as you will spend 60% (3 days) of your week collaborating with colleagues at office locations or local sites and the rest remotely.
