Senior Integration Architect

The Data, Analytics, and AI Organization operates a global transactional data integration backbone connecting internal and external applications, providing composable infrastructure modules, development frameworks, CI/CD automations, and developer tooling for software engineering teams.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or significant relevant experience.
• Proficiency in IT Architecture and design, specifically in system integration, designing distributed systems, and API design.
• Experience with NodeJS and AWS services including SQS, CloudWatch, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, Networking Service, and Document DB.
• Familiarity with IaaS tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Repos, and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with Linux command line tools and shell scripting.
• Experience building IT systems in a GxP environment.
• Demonstrated experience in managing IT projects, Agile Project Management techniques, coordinating with international partners, and understanding large organizational structures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and experience building and deploying integration solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written; German is a plus.

Integration Planning and Design:

• Lead the planning and design of integration processes and interfaces to ensure effective connectivity between various systems and applications, predominantly in the Manufacturing area.

Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support in the implementation of integration solutions.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

• Work closely with Squad Leads and other stakeholders to understand integration requirements and align integration strategies with business goals.

Technical Oversight:

• Ensure that integration solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable, adhering to best practices in IT architecture.

Documentation and Standards:

• Create, maintain, and review comprehensive documentation for integration processes, standards, and best practices.

Intercultural Communication:

• Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration among diverse teams across different geographical locations.
