Founding AI Engineer

This organization is a European defence startup, based between Paris and Warsaw. Our mission is to create modern software tailored for hostile environments. We’re assembling a world-class team at the intersection of modern software and defence. We do not work on weapons systems or hardware products.

• Experience implementing Voice AI systems in resource-constrained environments where compute, connectivity, or latency constraints are operational factors.
• Comfortable working with audio pipelines and real-time, low-latency systems.
• Strong execution skills with a pragmatic, delivery-focused, product mindset.
• Ability to build from zero without waiting for perfect specifications.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to thrive in fast-moving, early-stage environments.
• Purpose-driven with desire to have real-world impact in high-stakes environments.

• Work directly with founders to evolve the early technology stack and service first customers.
• Develop bespoke real-time speech-to-text systems primarily in Python.
• Build applied solutions for use in demanding, resource-constrained environments.
• Move fast, make real decisions, and own the development end-to-end.
