Agent Harness Engineer

An innovative company that provides an AI coworker living in Slack and Microsoft Teams, connecting to thousands of tools to perform real work for companies in finance, marketing, ops, and engineering. The product aims to replace half the SaaS stack with a single teammate.

• Personally built or significantly modified an AI agent harness with understanding of trade-offs.
• Made an agent reliably close the loop using tests, linters, typecheckers, verification, or similar methods.
• Built custom skills, CLIs, or MCP servers to enhance agentic coding speed.
• Agentic coding is the daily workflow with informed opinions on models, harnesses, and tools.
• Systems thinking with good judgment on technical trade-offs and scalability.
• Ability to work across agent runtime, frontend components, and deployment scripts rapidly.
• Genuine interest in AI workings, including reading papers and understanding prompts and evals.
• Ability to ship to production quickly and take ownership of live surfaces.
• Onsite work required in Munich, New York, or Warsaw.

• Build the agent runtime including sandboxed execution, tool orchestration, memory, and verification of actions against real APIs.
• Ship integrations with OAuth, webhooks, schema mapping, and error handling that work on actual customer data from day one.
• Run infrastructure involving container orchestration, autoscaling, and cost management to maintain product performance.
• Ship product features that users interact with through Slack and Teams.
• Work on various tasks as needed in a small team with a large surface area of responsibility.
